Other pardons I would advocate for...

Bush released several prisoners via pardon and commutation on Monday. If I were lobbying for some other pardons or commutations, I would advocate for the following:

Michael Vick--He spent enough time in jail to learn his lesson. Let him get back to his life and to the football field.

Willie Nelson and Burt Reynolds--for any tax evasion fees that are still left. Willie should not have to crank out 2-3 poorly done albums a year just to pay bills.

Leonard Peltier--falsely accused of insurrection and murder at Wounded Knee uprising in 1973

Any you think should be pardoned still?

ok, so i love this post!!!
wish i woulda thought of doing it...
i agree with your choices.
did. i mean, i have to agree with Chris Rock about the injustice of the Mike Vick situation.
I mean dog fighting is bad, but how is it any worse than Moose hunting??
Anyway, I agree...just let that man go.

Don't a few people adopt a "get out of jail free" card with every president that steps down? It may not be a favor for some of those coke dealers - they were hoping the streets didn't find them.
Mr. Vick could be freed, but it is NOTHING like hunting moose hunting unless you would feed your family on 100 dog carcasses, or bet on moose mauling each other to death in your yard.
