I made the evening news

The other night I got a call from Scott Harrison of Channel 13 in Colorado Springs. He asked me to comment on the new Left Behind game.I said a lot of things that I thought were really smart, but the clips made me look a little like a dumb ox. You can link to a transcript of the report here.

You sound like a sane disciple of Christ, not schooled in media-speak.

That's a good thing.

Don't sweat it. Every time (ok, twice) I've been quoted in the news, the reporter managed to misquote me or take my words totally out of context.

It's the nature of the beast. That's why I think media bias is the least of the media's problems. Competence is the real issue.

Be sure to lock your doors though. Those Focus on the Family hit men... :)

I think what you said was very good. You sounded very smart and level headed. :)

I thought you said it like it is. I'm with you on this one. I remember when I first heard that there was such a game. I think my jaw dropped to the floor. Anyway I think you speaking out against focus on the family could get you in a lot of trouble! :) I'm with David. Lock your doors!
