The Secret Message of Jesus
Much like John Ortberg called a lot of his books "Dallas Willard for dummies" this most recent book from McLaren could best be called "NT Wright for dummies" at a lot of points.
Which isnt a bad thing. Not at all...that is in part what I think he was trying to accomplish.
But it is what it is.

Have you read it?
I don't know much about it, but read some anti-McLaren blogs about that book. One claims that McLaren believes the God's kingdom will have Muslims, Buddhists and other non-Christians. Is that true?
I know how shrill the blogs have been, so I won't take their word at face value, but I'm still curious
For those of us who haven't read NT Wright or McClaren's latest give us the paralells, please. :-)

It's a good mix of the theological with the practical... totally dig it.
