I will be posting several pics of my honeymoon below. I am trying to post them in chronological order, which means I will share the last days first so that the first days are newer.
Our honeymoon started on January 1, and we arrived home on January 8. We decided to do a road trip with very minimal planning so we could tour around at our own pace and not worry about having to be on a schedule, or worry about getting stuck in an airport somewhere. Our trip went like this:
Jan 1--Get up late. Finish packing. Drive from Colorado Springs to Santa Fe.
Jan 2-Drive from Santa Fe to Page, AZ. Stop in Petrified Forest National Park and see the Painted Desert and Petrified National Forest. Get our National Parks Pass for the Year. Spend the night overlooking Lake Powell.
Jan 3--Visit Bryce Canyon. Stay at Cedar City, UT.
Jan 4--Get to our resort in Arizona. Visit Zion National Park along the way.
Jan 5--Play 18 holes of golf and goof around at the resort.
Jan 6--Have brunch with family friends who gave us the resort as their Christmas present. Shop in Arizona Mills Mall. Drive to Las Cruces, NM.
Jan 7--Goof around in Las Cruces, and visit Old Mesilla. Drive to Santa Fe.
Jan 8--Drive home from Santa Fe to Colorado Springs.
Jan 9--Get life in order. Attend a friend's wedding. Lead bible study.
