Forbidden Fruit

No matter how far
I reach
You are
just a littletoo far
away

Sparkling rays
of sunshine
make you
look new
each day

Smelling
so sweet
I can almost
taste you
now

Hearing
I strainto
listen to
your muffled melodic
voice

Never
in my hands
on my tongue
and always
forbidden fruit

Have you always written poetry? I'm just not used to this from you.

I didn't realize you wrote poetry. It's a nice version of what you are feeling inside.

I'm glad you're sharing it :)

This is just fantastic. I'm so glad you're joining us in our poetic romping! I love the "make you look new each day" line. That was fantastic.
