I find some of these quotes unbelievably ironic.

For instance: Ray Kroc saying "no one of us is more important than the rest of us". I wonder at what point in his life he made that statement. Was it when he was turning McDonalds into the biggest death-trap in the country? Or was it when he was cheating the real McDonalds brothers out of a fortune by convincing them to sell him their restaurant for a pittance--all the while planning to take over the market? Or was it when he was forcing small farmers out of business who couldn't produce the kind of potatoes he needed at a low enough prices because they still wanted to feed their families?

Hmmm. I wonder.

And Napoleon saying "leaders are dealers in hope"??? Surely I'm not the only one who sees the irony in this dictator/wanna-be-royal/psycho-who-wanted-to-rule-the-world pretending to be a benevolent despot?

I do enjoy the Mark Twain comment, though. Two months? Man, I can live for a good year on one really great compliment. Then I start fishing for them...just kidding. :)

Yes, very much like that. Except those were just odd, like "why is Neitzsche talking about music?" and "why would Errol Flynn say ___". The ones you posted struck me as downright contradictory to everything I know about that historical personage.

Very interesting.
