This is why I am not a fundamentalist

This is a hillarious video of a Baptist preacher taking a Bible passage totally out of context. The rampant anti-intellectualism and not-so hidden anger against everything different is the reason I left my fundamentalist roots for the American Baptists.

Ah yes, if it isn't our good friend Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church. I've seen a lot of his stuff on youtube (apparently to a lot of his followers punctuation is a sin as well). This video is full of good material though. like:
1)I feel sorry for the janitor at that church after service.
2)Apparently "I will destroy those who pisseth on the wall" is actually a pro-pisseth statement.
3) That phrase would make an awesome sign to put up in the church restroom.
4) It always amuses me to see churches like this one that have such extreme views on homosexuality (I'm talking extreme even for fundamentalists)on the one hand but an extreme insistence on only using the King James Bible on the other.

Now that I have finished laughing, I have to pee! Thanks for sharing.

Oh my gosh, that is so funny and a really odd manipulation of scripture! The little old baptist ladies must have been squirming in their pews!
