Top Seven Tips on gift buying for women (on Mother's Day)

I got my hair cut as SuperCuts on Friday night. Here was the advice for men that was being given on Mother's Day gifts.

1. Always buy a size smaller than what you suspect she is if you buy her clothes.
Small estimations on clothing sizes are always a compliment.

2. Electronic equiptment is not really a gift for her, it is a gift for you.

3. Never buy exercise equiptment unless specifically requested. Women read in a
value judgement about her appearance with this I guess.

4. Never buy a woman cooking equiptment either. See #2 for the reason.

5. Days at the spa are nice.

6. Never buy a weight loss book unrequested. See #3 for rationale.

7. If you enjoy it, chances are she will not.

I learned a little. How about you?

What is the biggest gift mistake a man has made that you know of.

Gift certificates are good, too! Ones with alot of money on 'em. Only problem with spas are that, as of late, they want their hubbies to go to. And I don't need to do no day of foot massages and mud masks.
