I came to startling realization as I was about to head out the door to home....my backpack is a man-purse.
This scares me. And while liking Daquaris is something I am secure enough in my manood to admit, I am not sure having a man-purse is. I have this fear of being stuck without a book you see and......
nevermind I do not expect you all to understand.

Ok, so I am remiss on doing any real original posts leading up to this holiday season. With a job change and a new baby on the way, as well ...

who had the man purse?
was it on Seinfeld?
Kramer on Seinfeld
It's a murse.
Joey on Friends also had a murse in an eppie.
I think Nicolette was right and I am thinking of the man bra on Seinfeld.
It depends on what you are carrying in the back pack that reminds you of a purse - right?
:-) :-)
I came to that realization a long time ago. But I had to make a choice: do I want to carry a man purse, or lose all my stuff. I carry my leather bag everywhere, except to the mall.
Gig--books, pens and pencils, tablets to write on in case i get a writing idea, wallet, checkbook, super ball, walkman and a couple of CDs
Don--Your man purse sounds more grown up than mine
Clint, you have nothing to worry about. All that stuff you carry is important to you. And, I hate to say it, it's not like it's gonna fit in your back pocket. SOOO, I say, carry the backpack, there is nothing wrong with it.
Now, if you are carrying a little pink glittery backpack with Barbie on it or something like that, MAYBE I'd say you have something to be concerned about. heheh *just kidding* hehehe
Take care!!!
Just call it a Back Pack ... you'll be ok!
I carry my trusty backpack whenever I go out to someplace important. In fact, I'm taking it out this coming Sunday to get Delta Goodrem's A Little Too Late single.
I understand completely why you'd need a backpack to carry books. When you finish the one you're reading, you don't know which one you'll read next, so you have to carry a bunch.
The keys to preserving your manliness are (1) manly colors, and (2) weight. My wife can't lift my backpack, so I know it's not girly.
When I don't have to carry books, I just wear a lightweight fishing/photographer's vest with about 15 pockets to carry all my gadgets.
