Dream Vacation: A Blog World Tour

Sometimes I think, if I had the time to get away, I would do a blog world tour.

In other words, I would drive around the country and cruise around the world, and say hello to all of you out in blogland that I have never met. If this scares you, please don't worry because it is not happening anytime soon.

The reason I bring this up is because I wonder, does anyone else ever think about doing something like this.

No? That is what I thought. Now it is confirmed. I am a total weirdo.

I dream about driving around and visiting Civil War battlefields...I'm not as much of a people person as you are! ;)

I hope you do make that trip some day, it would be a lot of fun to meet you.

well I will see an internet friend or two in Canada in May - that's the beginning of my blog world tour.

No chance to visit the US though (unfortunately) so you are safe for now - unless you're in Toronto in mid-late May.

I know people who have done this with folks they've met off the internet (prior to the blog craze) and people are meeting, dating and marrying off the net all the time. I think it all a bit wierd, but who am I to say what's weird? I'm from the Pancake Hub of the Universe and that makes me proud. so?

Oh, and you're welcome to come and visit me anytime, but you already know me so that probably doesn't really count.

my friends ryan & holly (http://thecobaltseason.blogspot.com/) are kind of doing this -- they have lots of other reasons, and they're not doing a specific "blog tour" but they have been having a great time travelling and conversing. I'm envious of them!

and no, it's not weird or abnormal, at all.
