Being Thankful
Today and for the last couple of days it has been a little easier not to take things for granted. I am thankful that my toilet flushes, I am thankful that I can take a shower, and I am thankful that I can have a stove to use and top RAMEN to eat. As footage rolls down in the Gulf Coast, I continue to thank God for being so good to me. Now if I can only find my cell phone.......

Amen. It's impossible to imagine the suffering all those people are going through. I just keep reminding myself, the bad day I seem to be having is NOTHING compared to what they are dealing with.
It is so sad to see all they are going through. *sighs*
OK, pitch the Ramen and head for the Thai Kitchen. Slightly more expensive (but still under a $1) and so, so much tastier.
A flushing toilet is imperative...my "male" roomie...had one of ours in non-working order for a while this weekend. Thank goodness the Germaphobe Sarah has her own bathroom!
